A mostly photo journal of Miss Genevieve Elizabeth

Tuesday, February 14, 2006

Geneviève Elizabeth was born at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, February 13th. Here are some pictures of our beautiful little girl. Sorry they're out of order. The picture below of her in the car seat was taken just before we left the Maison de Naissance this afternoon.

A picture of daddy with baby.
Geneviève having a snooze.
Here's a good one of her face, though it's a little dark (I didn't want to use a flash). Click on the image to enlarge it.
This is Lindsay on January 31st, the day before Geneviève's "due date" - whatever! If anyone has seen the cover of "What to expect when you're expecting", you'll relate to the "get this baby out of me" look, expressed by Lindsay so well.
Another one of Ted and baby. Resemblance?
Lindsay and I found it hard to sleep the first night as we just couldn't stop looking at her. Of course, me standing over her while taking pictures didn't help things either.

You have heard
You have heard the loudest sound
In this and every world you can think of
Louder than tanks on the highway
Louder than bombers in flight
Louder than noises of hatred
Dancing us from darkest night
Is the rhythm of love
Powered on the beating of hearts
